Strategic Studies A dialogue workshop is held to monitor the oral history of the reign of King Hussein

The Center for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan held a specialized scientific workshop to examine the mechanisms of collecting oral history related to King Hussein, and methods of writing, writing and making available to scholars and researchers. The workshop was attended by a number of professors in the field of documentation, oral history and anthropology, including Dr. Abdel Aziz Hwaidy, Mr. Mohamed Younis El Abadi, Mr. Mohamed El Adwan and Ms. Malak El Tal, in the presence of the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies and a number of researchers at the Center. The participants expressed great interest in the need to work diligently to collect all the information, facts and perceptions from various sources about King Hussein Bin Talal, his way of governance, and his method of communicating with his people and dealing with them. Among these rich sources is what is stored in the popular memory of people who witnessed the rule of Hussein, or were close to him,

or those who worked with him in different fields, and their memory is surrounded by facts, facts and details that do not exist in others. The researchers reviewed the various visions and perspectives for the success of this endeavor, and talk about the important citizen of this history, which should be intended and directed towards it, taking advantage of the experience of some in the writing of oral history. The researchers continued to discuss this issue of importance, through the holding of another scientific workshop that includes, in addition to the topics of oral history,

research in the documents and the need to collect and archive and make available to the majority of researchers. The workshop comes within the activities of the King Hussein Center for Jordanian and International Studies, which was established by the Center to shed light on his life and career, which led the nation and its people to the heights of progress and development, based on a vision of leadership and leadership.
